This year, the Chelle’J Travel family is trading the limestone cliffs of Jamaica for the granite peaks of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 🇧🇷. We’re swapping one paradise for another, flying south to witness the majesty of Christ the Redeemer and the sunset glow of Ipanema. It’s a trip designed for the dreamers, the style-seekers, and the explorers who know that the best way to see the world is with your tribe by your side.


VISA FREE experience for Jamaican passport holders to visit Brazil for only J$198,000.

Pack light, breathable clothing made of cotton or linen. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the strong sun.


Here's what's included in Chelle'J Travels' annual Heroes Weekend trip to Rio de Janeiro, and what's not:

  • Roundtrip Flights from MBJ , Jamaica via Copa Airlines

    • One (1) carry-on bag (max 25lb)

    • Personal luggage

  • Roundtrip airport transfer

  • Accommodation with breakfast

  • Travel documents prepared

  • 3 Prepaid Excursions: Carnival Backstage, AquaRio and Christ the Redeemer Statue

  • Lunch/Dinner and Beverages

  • Ground Transportation to and from other sites in destinations or if you wish to explore on your own

  • Tips and Money for Food, Taxi, Souvenirs etc. (Recommendation: $50USD - $100USD per day pocket money)

  • Entertainment such as clubs/bars/restaurants, with the exception of the Bar Crawl October 16th.

  • Optional Bags (Round Trip/Domestic):

  • Any additional airline fees for baggage, seats or cabin upgrade (Package does not include checked luggage)

  • Airline seating on all flights is assigned at random. You will have the option to select your preferred seats, at an additional cost as an add on.

Oct 25: Travel

We meet up at Sangster International Airport (MBJ) to begin our experience in VIP Club Mobay where you will receive your packages. Gear up for a 10hour flight travel with a quick layover in Panama in between to refresh yourselves.

Oct 26: Arrival and Exploration

Touch down in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro bright and early then dive into exploring.

  • Check into your accommodation and freshen up.

  • Take a walk along Copacabana Beach and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

  • This is a FREE DAY for you to any activity of your choosing. i.e. Favela, Paragliding, Football Stadium etc. if you are not too tired from your flight.

  • Experience authentic Brazilian cuisine at a local churrascaria ($).

    • All White Dinner Theme

  • Grab your comfy shoes for an exotic night out to Bar Crawl ($ optional)!

Oct 27: Iconic Landmarks

Immerse yourself in Rio's world-famous cultural and historical sights.

  • Visit the Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain.

  • Around midday, enjoy breathtaking views from Sugarloaf Mountain.

  • End the day of excursion with a city tour and explore the SelarĂłn Steps, a colorful artistic masterpiece.

  • Dinner at the infamous Restaurante Pegula ($)

Oct 28: Rio Samba and Salsa

Discover the richness of Rio through this fun-filled day tour.

  • Carnival Backstage Tour at Samba City with Cocktail where we will try on glamorous carnival costumes and get our pictures taken while wearing them.

  • Late night dinner at Cobacabana ($).

    • Freestyle Dresscode

Oct 29: Sea Adventure and Leisure

Get your adrenaline pumping with outdoor activities then wrap up your unforgettable trip.

  • Shop for souvenirs at the famous Hippie Fair in Ipanema.

  • Visit the Museum of Tomorrow, AquaRio & Olympic Boulevard for an interactive experience and seeing more than 8,000 animals up close.

  • Enjoy a sunset drink at a rooftop bar overlooking the city ($).

Oct 30: Hop to Panama

It's time to leave Brazil alreadyđź’” BUT, only to spend a refreshing day in Panama


Oct 31: Official Departure

And just like that, our trip comes to an end.
